FANIA RECORDS 1964-1980 THE ORIGINAL SOUND OF LATIN NEW YORK

E’ uscita una nuova  raccolta della Fania Records che raccoglie le cose più importanti ,in doppio CD, dei suoi anni migliori.

Nata nel 1964 da un’idea di Johnny Pacheco e dall’avvocato italo-americano Jerry Masucci la Fania Records è stata fondamentale per dare voce ai musicisti “nuyorican” che vivevano e suonavano a NYC e negli Stati Uniti come turnisti nelle jazz band.

Il doppio CD contiene,tra le altre, tracce di Joe Bataan, Ray Barreto,Celia Cruz, Mongo Santamaria e della mitica Fania All Stars… se volete altre info seguite questo link… strut-records.com .

Il CD contiene un libretto di 32 pagine dentro il quale troverete la storia completa della label, le copertine degli album e molte foto inedite dall’archivio FANIA.

Se la trovate in qualche negozio … prendetene due copie, è un ottimo regalo da fare anche perchè si avvicina il RECORD STORE DAY.
